Here are 5 ways to fix a clogged drain:

  1. Drain Snakes

The drain snake is a long flexible metal rope with a spiral on its end. It can go as fast as possible into the drain to trap and remove the debris that clogged the drain. It is an easy solution to fix a clogged drain.

  1. Plunger

If all the solutions discussed above do not work, reach out to a household plunger. You would need to seal off the second sink with a stopper before you start plunging the other sink. Fill the sink you want to plunge with water up to the bell level of the plunger. Plunge the sink vigorously severally until you notice that the suction has cleared the clog. Run water through the drain after that to clean your sink.

  1. Zip-It

Zip-It is a cheap but effective way to unclog your drain. Zip-it is a thin plastic stick that has upward-facing barbs on it to pull out debris that blocked your drain. It is effective for removing hair clogs in the bathroom. Insert Zip-it into the drain and pull it up; it will remove the hair clog without any hassles.

  1. Drain Claw

A clogged drain traced to the bathtub can be fixed by using a drain claw. The drain claw is to catch and remove hair clogs from the pipe. Insert a drain claw into the drain and move it in a back-and-forth motion. The small hooks on it will grab any hair, or other debris clogging is the drain. Remove and clean the drain claw after the procedure.

  1. Enzymes Cleaners

Enzymes cleaners are also referred to as biological cleaners. This is a biological method that uses enzymes and bacteria that feast on organic matter in clogs to make the drain functional again. This is an effective way of unclogging your drain, although it requires time to be effective.
